Welcome to my personal page!

This page is devoted to me and the things that I am doing outside of work. Feel free to browse.

Holy Family University

I was blessed to be invited to teach green screening to undergraduates at Holy Family University. My friend, Mark Perlman and I were invited by our good friend, Rosie Parmigiani who teaches technology through literacy. We helped to bring the students' "Reader's Theater" to life. Take a look.

Wreaths Across America

Every December, my family visits Arlington National Cemetery for "Wreaths Across America" Day. This is a day where you volunteer to put wreaths on every grave in the cemetery. It is truly an honor to be there with the many others who donate their time to decorate the graves of our service men and women.

Girlscouts

Along with teaching, I also have been a Girl Scout Leader for 9 years. I have lead a Daisy troop for 2 years, a Brownie troop for 5 years and have co-lead a Junior troop for 2 years. I've put my tech skills to good work and created a Girl Scout Wiki.

The ALS Walk

On October 4, 2008 my husband and family went to Maryland to do a 3 mile walk for ALS. We were only able to raise a little over 2,000 dollars before the walk that year, but that didn't stop us. We walked in memory of my father-in-law who passed away October 2007 of this horrible disease. Our shirts won for "best overall presentation". I designed the logo.
